Wale drops “WYFL,” an anthem for the 2026 WNBA Finals between the Golden State Valkyries and Atlanta Dream, shouting out stars Angel Reese and Gabby Williams.
Wale’s output may not look like it did during the blog era, but every time he drops new music, it’s worth a listen. This time, he’s delivered an anthem for the 2026 WNBA Finals called “WYFL,” which stands for “Who You Feeling Like?” The league introduced the song Monday as the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream battle for their first-ever titles in a series that’s now tied 1-1.
Wale gives shoutouts to stars on both sides, including Angel Reese and Gabby Williams, and brings the high level of effort you expect from him. It follows recent work like his video for “Watching Us” with Leon Thomas and the “James” freestyle with Don Cannon. Expect to hear this one if you’re tuning in to the Finals. Listen to the single above. As of writing, it was not yet available on streaming services.
