We’re less than two weeks into 2012 and Moe Green’s already on a roll. After releasing his “Out With The Out Crowd” webisode yesterday, Moe is right back at it with a brand new video, this one for a track from his December-released Free Water EP. In keeping with the wrestling themes and undertones that permeated his Rocky Maivia: Non-Title Match mixtape and Lionheart EP, this latest track, “Mean Green Okerlund,” is a reference to ‘Mean’ Gene Okerlund, the famous wrestling interviewer and announcer, recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The video, a quick one-minute clip, is Moe at his lyrical finest, mixing self-awareness with slick witted bravado and an always-healthy dose of ’90s cartoon- and sitcom-themed punchlines.
