Eminem and EZ MIL reunite on “MADARA,” a new single featuring Tokyo rapper Hideyoshi and voice actor Neil Kaplan, known for voicing Madara Uchiha in the English Naruto dub. Co-produced by Eminem, the track marks their third collaboration following “Realest” and “Head Honcho.”
Shady Records is back in the spotlight. Eminem and EZ MIL team up on “MADARA,” a new single that blends cultures with Tokyo rapper Hideyoshi and Neil Kaplan, the English voice of Madara Uchiha in the Naruto dub, the character the song is named after. EZ MIL, the Filipino rapper signed to Shady, Aftermath and Interscope, switches to Japanese to back Hideyoshi on the hook.
Eminem co-produced the track and, according to Complex, touches on censorship, white privilege and his past beefs. It’s the third EZ MIL and Eminem collaboration after “Realest” and “Head Honcho,” and it follows EZ MIL’s 3RD WRLD VOL. 1 EP from July.
The Dr. Dre connection runs deep here. Dre mixed EZ MIL’s “2200,” and Eminem has a long history with Dre and Shady, from his XXL 25th anniversary issue cover to the “Crack a Bottle” video with Dre and 50 Cent. Stay tuned for more from EZ MIL, and find the streaming links below.
