The legendary Rakim, who once brought his catalog to a Tiny Desk Concert, is gearing up to drop a new album titled The Godbody alongside Kurupt and Masta Killa. To kick off the rollout, he blesses fans with a new self-produced single, “A Different Kind,” packaged with an official video directed by Aqua Stone Throne. The project will also feature Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, KRS-One, and more. The single arrives on the heels of Rakim’s Paid in Full project being inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and marks his first solo, self-produced track in 15 years.
