John Legend joins forces with Clipse for “Bodies On The Floor,” a Pharrell Williams-produced standout from his 12th studio album, Muse. The collaboration pairs Legend’s soulful vocals with gritty verses from Pusha T and Malice, accompanied by a black-and-white music video directed by Paul Hunter.
John Legend and Clipse Link Up on “Bodies On The Floor”
John Legend dropped his 12th studio album, Muse, on Friday, with Pharrell Williams handling the production. One of the standout tracks is the Clipse collaboration “Bodies On The Floor.” The song features those classic John Legend vocals while Clipse deliver gritty verses that complement the Pharrell beat.
Clipse won their first-ever Grammy earlier this year for “Chains & Whips,” which took Best Rap Performance, and they return the favor to Legend, who sang on “The Birds Don’t Sing” from Let God Sort ’Em Out. It’s been a busy year for the duo, from their Lollapalooza aftershow in Chicago to Pusha T’s recent appearance in Fat Joe’s “Set of Keys” video. The song also comes with a black-and-white video directed by Paul Hunter. You can check out the video above and find the streaming links to Muse below.
