Ghostface Killah, Scarface and Kool G Rap Link Up for Red Bull Spiral
Ghostface Killah, Scarface and Kool G Rap head to the West Coast to do what they do best. They hit up Red Bull Studios in Los Angeles to deliver a classic freestyle, all in one unedited take over a Jake One beat, for the latest episode of Red Bull Spiral.
The pairing is a genuine cross-regional summit three decades in the making, Ghostface repping Staten Island and Wu-Tang, Kool G Rap carrying Queens and the Juice Crew’s lyrical tradition, and Scarface holding down Houston and the Rap-A-Lot legacy. The timing lines up with a run of milestones for all three: Ghostface is celebrating 25 years since Supreme Clientele, Kool G Rap just hit 30 years since his debut 4,5,6, and Scarface is deep into the 35th anniversary of Mr. Scarface Is Back. It’s also not the first time Red Bull Spiral has brought legends together across coasts, following last year’s link-up between YG, Jay Rock, and Mozzy.
