Cam’ron revisits his past with Dame Dash on a powerful new freestyle, “Letter to Dame,” offering reflection on legacy, fallout, and growth.

The glory days of Roc-A-Fella Records and The Diplomats are long behind us. Over the years, life has taken different turns for many involved, including Dame Dash, who has faced well-documented legal and financial challenges. As the industry continues to evolve, many OG artists have shifted into podcasting and media, most notably Cam’ron, who found renewed success alongside Mase with their hit show It Is What It Is.
One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is Cam’ron’s ability to rap at a high level. During a recent appearance on Talk With Flee, Cam kicked things off with an impressive freestyle titled “Letter to Dame“, addressing his complicated history with Dame Dash while reflecting on their early days together. The freestyle feels both personal and reflective, highlighting how unpredictable life can be as former collaborators move down different paths. Check out the freestyle below—at this time, it’s unclear whether the track will receive an official streaming release.
