Jay-Z has officially been announced as the headliner for the Apple Music Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. After years of shaping the event through Roc Nation, the hip-hop icon will take center stage for a career-spanning performance.

It’s official: Jay-Z will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show, with the announcement coming Monday during halftime of Monday Night Football. There were plenty of rumors about who would take the stage on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, but Hov is stepping into the spotlight himself after years of helping produce the show through Roc Nation.
The announcement comes on the heels of his Jay-Z 30 run, which featured legendary nights at Yankee Stadium, stops in London and Paris, and a closing run at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. He’s also been busy elsewhere in 2026, including his and Beyoncé’s “Morning Dew” Donk remix.
The Super Bowl halftime show has long been a topic of conversation as the NFL’s global popularity has grown, but this time a hip-hop legend with the discography to match takes the stage. The first rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, he’s turning his 30 years of music, from Reasonable Doubt on, into a Super Bowl moment. Roc Nation will executive produce the show, with Hamish Hamilton directing. No other performers have been announced yet, so we’ll see who joins him on stage, and we’re hoping a Watch The Throne reunion is on the horizon. Check out the promo teaser below.
We’ll update this post as more details come in.
