The numbers are in, Emimen’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2 has sold 792,000 in its first week making him No.1 on the Billboard charts making him second second highest seller in the first week next to Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience that pushed nearly 964,000 copies. It’s a great feat from Eminem considering his age and his longevity in this Hip Hop game that’s normally for the youth, bottom line is fans still want to hear his music and his story telling. Eminem has found the formula to make great music throughout his career and his chemistry with Dr.Dre is like no other, bringing Rick Rubin for this project proved be the right move as he brought a different sound to the table. Nonetheless MMLP 2 is a great album and the numbers prove it, congrats to Eminem and his team for their hard work. MMLP 2 in stores now!
