When I first get material from artists I like to give them a fair chance at getting on the blog cause you’ll never who will become the next superstar in this competitive Hip Hop game. When I first received the first visual from MGK I had no idea who he was or if he was connected to Drama Beats in any way. He caught my attention, he had something unique that made him stand out. I saw his progress and the attention he received at SXSW so I’m not surprised he finally got his first deal with someone who has the potential to make him a true superstar or shelve him for a long time.
